In 2008, fifth grade was moved from the elementary school after completion of a middle school expansion project.

The sixth grade was moved from the middle school in the fall of 2002.

In 2006, the 5th grade was moved to the elementary buildings, and the middle school developed the philosophy of "teaming".

In additional the physical changes on campus, the fifth grade was moved from lower school to middle school.

Fifth grade will be moved to the middle school as soon as an addition is completed, possibly next fall.

The 6th grade was moved to the new Intermediate school in 2011.

In 2002, the Middle School was expanded and the 9th grade was moved there.

After the consolidation of schools which occurred in 2004, however, those grades were moved to Crisfield, and the school closed down.

Later, grades 7-9 were moved to the Junior High.

The ninth grade was moved to the high schools.
