Until February, 2010, the station broadcast Timeless Favorites.

After the shutdown of Timeless Favorites in February, 2010, the station has broadcast primarily a Kool Gold format.

After "Timeless Favorites" was discontinued in February 2010, the station opted to return to locally originating programming.

They became "Timeless Favorites" 1460 WRAD August 4, 2008.

The station eventually used ABC Radio's Memories and then Timeless Favorites programming during some day parts.

Despite the fact that the actual "Timeless Favorites" format is no more, WXLA continues to use the phrase "Timeless Favorites" in its imaging.

Since 2007, it was simply known as "Timeless", still using the "Timeless Favorites" branding sparingly.

And on 2002-10-14 the call letters changed again to the current WFDL which aired Citadel's Timeless Favorites until that satellite format ended on February 15, 2010.

Previously, the station used Dial Global's America's Best Music and Citadel's Timeless Favorites.

Citadel, already operating WJRD under a local marketing agreement, continued the adult standards music format under the "Timeless Favorites 1150" branding.
