Residents should also question whether their buildings comply with all electrical codes.

Some electrical codes, for instance, do not require special training to wire it.

The Canadian electrical code requires no more than 5% drop between service entrance and point of use.

Thus the system would require permitting and have to meet all existing electrical codes.

The Act also provided for the establishment of a province-wide electrical code.

When it came, though, to assuring that the building met current electrical codes, little of the past could be saved.

These were prohibited in North American electrical codes by 1928.
