At the end of the 2010-11 season he signed for Bury Town.

In 1972-73 they won the Suffolk Premier Cup for the first time, beating Bury Town 4-0.

Stringfellow finished his playing career with Bury Town in 2003.

He made his debut for the club in a 3-2 defeat against Bury Town, in which he scored.

They won it for a second time in 1933, beating Kirkley 5-2, and again the following season, with a 3-0 win over Bury Town.

He also appeared for Bury Town.

Greygoose joined Bury Town during the 2006-07 season, and played for the club until retiring in July 2009.

The club also reached the final of the Suffolk Premier Cup, in which they defeated Bury Town 4-2.

He was forced to retire due to injury in 1971 and had a spell as player-manager of Bury Town.

The town's football club, Bury Town, are the fourth oldest non-league team in England.
