"This country doesn't like to talk about rationing at all," he said.

Both countries would like to see higher oil prices and revenues.

And, even though the country largely did not like him, he remained there until his death.

"The Eastern European countries would like four or five times the numbers of teachers we can send."

He had come to London determined to make himself and his country liked.

There are discussions under way to see whether some other country might like to take over the job.

Many countries would like to cut down on public health spending by raising the patients' own contributions for medicines.
