Awdal and Salel regions are now buzzing with the news that, at long last, an administration of their own had finally arrived, even though still at its infancy.

The new administration arrived in the form of a party led by Hermann von Wissman, Imperial Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief, with orders to take possession of the territory in the south of German East Africa secured under the terms of the Anglo-German Agreement of 1890.

Partisan local administration has, however, quite clearly arrived in the bulk of British local authorities.

Judging from its campaign statements, the administration of President George W. Bush arrives having nearly written the continent off in advance.

Meanwhile, in a concrete sign that a new administration has arrived in Hartford, the state's Department of Transportation began patching - though not replacing - about 70 signs bearing the governor's welcome posted on highways and parking lots throughout the state.
