They want more of the same, and expect it from Judge Thomas.

In a way, it doesn't matter whether Judge Thomas is confirmed or not.

The quality this demonstrates has stood Judge Thomas well in the past.

The hearings did, however, tell us something about Judge Thomas.

If Judge Thomas is coming across as a man who does not have an answer for everything, that may work to his benefit.

His questions today for Judge Thomas were a lot longer than most of the answers.

Perhaps nothing but the defeat of Judge Thomas would have put an end to it.
