All the other tribes who are the majority of the population of the region along with all the tribes of Somalia are aggressively opposed to this one tribe agenda.
The congress is made up largely of members of the Hawiye tribe of central Somalia, while Mr. Siad Barre is the leader of the dominant Marehan tribe.
