This second Tuesday of the month, which we just had, addressed 40 vulnerabilities across 17 different security bulletins.

The security bulletin and patch will also be posted on the Web at http://officeupdate.microsoft.com.

Remote code execution is again the star of the latest Microsoft security bulletin.

They also publish the most detailed security bulletins in the industry.

But today, the full security bulletins went live, four days before their scheduled release.

We were able to view two of the five security bulletins before Microsoft unpublished them.

With the lack of security bulletins to report on, I decided to take a look at Microsoft's patch cycle over the last 17 months.

A security bulletin and hotfix for this had been issued by Adobe a week earlier.
