It's hard to see why Verizon would preinstall it on these, especially with the old OS.
Guess we'll keep using ours with the old OS... It just works.
But either way, that second processor is going to be pretty idle as long as you're in this old OS.

Windows Mobile is the old OS, which has effectively been deprecated.
Essentially, to be expected with a 10 year old OS, it's being phased out and you should probably upgrade if you actually want new shiny things.
Many versions of IE had some support for an older OS but stopped getting updates.
