Anacyclus valentinus is the type species for the genus Anacyclus in the tribe Anthemideae and family Asteraceae.

More recently Anacyclus pyrethrum has been noted for its anabolic activity in mice and suggests to give a testosterone-like effect, and also significantly increasing testosterone in the animal model.

Anacyclus clavata also known as Camomilla tomentosa, Pusteni targok, Vit bertram, White Anacyclus and White Buttons is a member of the genus Anacyclus and the tribe Anthemideae and family Asteraceae.
