Raskolniki

Melnikov became notorious as a cruel destroyer of Old believers' sketes and made way into Raskolniki's folklore.

It became prohibited (as under Catherine the Great-reigned 1762-96) to refer to Old Believers as raskolniki (schismatics), a name they consider insulting.
