Howell captured his first Tour victory at last year's Michelob Championship at age 23.

With five top 10's and his first career victory, at the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill last month, Howell has enjoyed an impressive year.

The Michelob Championship at Kingsmill was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 1968 to 2002.

Kaye's most well known clash with the Tour came at the 2001 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, played less than a month after 9/11.

Before winning his first tour event at the 1997 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, Duval had seven second-place finishes.

Toms followed up his first major win by successfully defending his title at the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill.

His lone career victory was at last year's Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, and despite five top-10 finishes this year, Howell does not have a victory.

He won the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill in October, and he is playing as if he will begin 2002 with another victory.

"It has been a good year, obviously," said Howell, 23, who won the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill last month and finished ninth on the money list.

He also played in one PGA Tour event, the 1996 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, missing the cut.
