These teams are non-test member nations of the European Cricket Council.

He is now the Development Manager of the Asian Cricket Council.

This was confirmed by the Asian Cricket Council on 15 December 2011.

In 1983, he also became the first elected chairman of the Asian Cricket Council.

It was granted affiliate membership of the Asian Cricket Council in the same year.

Eventually a vote was taken on whether The Cricket Council itself should be suspended sine die.

From 2006, the European Cricket Council expanded the tournament to include five divisions of between 4 and 8 teams.

It is also a member of the European Cricket Council.
