The Act was cited in October 2002 to argue for the authorization of military force against the Iraqi government.

The two Acts may be cited together as the Parliament Acts 1911 and 1949.

The Act was cited as a protection that would shelter dry states if prohibition were repealed.

This Act may be cited as the Protection of Freedoms Act 2011.

It further provides that any such Act may be cited accordingly in any Act, instrument or document.

This Act may be cited as the Citizenship Act.

It was expressly provided that those Acts could be cited by those short titles "without prejudice to any other mode of citation".
