Parable of the Weed

Commentary: With the parable of the weeds, Jesus answers those who are scandalized at seeing evil everywhere.

In the parable of the Weeds Jesus said "The harvest is the end of the age.

In explaining the Parable of the Weeds:

Fruitless - The parables of The Weeds and The Murderous Tenants.

It was a reference to Christ's parable of the weeds and the wheat in St Matthew's gospel, which was read earlier in the service.

It used to be called the parable of the wheat and the tares, but nobody knew what a tare was, so now it is called the parable of the weeds.

Some take offence and some reject Jesus and to go back to the parables of the Weeds and the Net in Mt 13 if they never repent they will be thrown into the fiery furnace on Judgement Day.
