Carvajal syndrome (also known as "Striate palmoplantar keratoderma with woolly hair and cardiomyopathy" and "Striate palmoplantar keratoderma with woolly hair and left ventricular dilated cardiomyopathy,") is a cutaneous condition inherited in an autosomal recessive fashion, and due to a defect in desmoplakin.
