Add the bean mixture to the pasta, and toss to combine well.
Put duck on top of bean mixture and bring to a simmer.
Season the bean mixture with additional salt if needed.
Stir gently into the bean mixture without immersing it completely.
When bean mixture is heated through, remove from heat and stir in cilantro.
To serve, spoon the bean mixture into a chefs' ring on the middle of the plate.
Lay strips of bacon on top of the bean mixture.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour, adding water if the bean mixture becomes too thick.
Divide the bean mixture among the plates, placing it in the center.
Place black bean mixture on the bottom of a 4-cup crock or glass bowl.
