Shell holds regular dialogues and engagement sessions with its stakeholders to report performance by providing complete relevant information to legitimately interested parties, subject to any overriding considerations of business confidentiality.

Business confidentiality is always a sensitive issue and, therefore, I am pleased we all accept that this directive takes into account the obligations under the Aarhus Convention on access to environmental information.
